PRACTICE
Shirley Hung is a general practitioner, with an emphasis on criminal litigation.

Shirley has developed a solid foundation in all aspects of criminal procedures from her paralegal experience in a well established Solicitors' firm in Hong Kong prior to joining the Bar.

Her wide breadth of experience in criminal practice includes legal visits, bail applications, mitigations and plea bargains; trials and appellate work in all levels of Court.

Shirley is also a committee member of the Hong Kong Bar Association's Special Committee on Criminal Law and Procedure.

Apart from her criminal practice, Shirley also has experience in handling a broad range of civil claims including Employees' Compensation, Fatal Accidents, Medical Negligence, and Personal Injury. In addition, Shirley has a particular interest in Family Law and has experience in matrimonial matters including contested divorce, ancillary relief, child custody, removal/injunction applications, and family appeals.

Shirley is bilingual and is available to take instructions to conduct cases in both English and Chinese.
