Conan has a broad practice, with a strong emphasis on personal injuries and criminal litigation.
On the civil side, Conan regularly renders written advice in personal injuries and employees’ compensation cases. He has also worked on cases involving contractual, insurance, land and commercial disputes.
On the criminal side, Conan has experience in a wide range of cases, including traffic, sexual, violent, dishonesty offences as well as departmental summonses.
Conan’s practice covers trial and appellate advocacy as well as advisory work.
Conan is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Personal Injuries and Employees’ Compensation

MOK PUI CHE the Administratrix of the estate of IP KING TONG, deceased v. KWOK HING ENGINEERING CO (a firm) AND ANOTHER  HKDC 1026; DCPI 3725/2019 (with Mr Patrick Lim): acted for the plaintiff in a fatal accident case.
MOHAMMAD RAFIQ v. KIN HONG TRANSPORTATION CO LTD  HKDC 1109; DCEC 2994/2018 (with Mr Patrick Lim): acted for the applicant in an employees’ compensation case.
ALE THAK PRASAD v. TSANG CHIN KEUNG AND ANOTHER  HKCFI 1979; HCPI 579/2012: Acted for the defendants in successfully varying the costs order nisi.
HKSAR v. CHIU, KCS 4480/2021: acted for the defendant who was acquitted of careless driving.
HKSAR v. 中國路橋工程有限責任公司and Others, TMS 1302-1304/2019 (with Mr Lawrence Hui): acted for the defendants in an industrial summons case where the prosecution sought to review the magistrate’s verdict. The Court upheld the acquittals of all the defendants.
HKSAR v. SINGH, KCCC 123/2021 (with Mr Adrian Halkes): acted for the defendant who was acquitted of failure to provide breath specimen.
HUI CHAU HING AND ANOTHER v. HUI CHI SUM WATER D. AND OTHERS  HKCFI 205; HCMP 1605/2020 (with Mr Lawrence Hui): acted for the petitioners in resisting a striking out application.
