Practice
Conan has a broad practice, with particular emphasis on personal injuries and criminal litigation. He is currently a member of the Personal Injuries Committee of the Hong Kong Bar Association.
On the civil side, Conan regularly renders written advice in personal injuries and employees’ compensation cases. He has also worked on cases involving contractual, insurance, land and commercial disputes.
On the criminal side, Conan has experience in a wide range of cases, including traffic, sexual, violent, dishonesty offences as well as departmental summonses.
Conan’s practice covers trial and appellate advocacy as well as advisory work.
Conan is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

HOSSAIN MOHAMMED SAJIB v. CHUEN KEE ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES RECYCLE (HONG KONG) LIMITED (in Liquidation) AND ANOTHER [2020] HKDC 1200; DCEC 2689/2016 (with Mr Patrick Lim): acted for the Employees Compensation Assistance Fund Board in disputing both liability and quantum.

HKSAR v. 中國路橋工程有限責任公司and Others, TMS 1302-1304/2019 (with Mr Lawrence Hui): acted for the defendants in an industrial summons case where the prosecution sought to review the magistrate’s verdict. The Court upheld the acquittals of all the defendants.
HKSAR v. SINGH, KCCC 123/2021 (with Mr Adrian Halkes): acted for the defendant who was acquitted of failure to provide breath specimen.
