PRACTICE AREAS

Lawrence’s practice involves both civil and criminal works. He has appeared in all levels of courts from the Court of Final Appeal to the Magistrates’ Courts.

Lawrence served in the Judiciary as Temporary Deputy Registrar (High Court), Deputy District Judge, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Special Magistrate. He also served as Marshall to the late Hon. Mr. Justice Arthur Leong GBS, Chief Judge of the High Court. Lawrence regularly acts as prosecutor-on-fiat for the Department of Justice.

Lawrence’s experience in criminal area includes commercial crimes, bribery and corruption, money-laundering, securities regulations, industrial summonses, traffic offences and other crimes.

His practice in civil matters include PRC related issues, conveyancing & tenancies, trusts, company law, shareholders’ disputes, securities regulations, family law, contractual disputes, defamation, employment law, public and administrative law, probate matters and personal injuries litigation.
