Tristan accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work, including advocacy, advisory, and tribunal secretary work. He maintains a broad practice, with a focus on emerging technologies, civil and commercial disputes, and white-collar and regulatory investigations.
Tristan has a particular academic and practical interest in AI law and governance. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, where he focused on AI law and governance. He designed and delivered the “AI Law and Governance” course at the City University of Hong Kong’s School of Law, lecturing LLB, JD, and LLM students.
He is fluent in English and Mandarin (both native), has advanced proficiency in Cantonese, and can draft and conduct matters in both English and Chinese.
Tristan completed pupillage under Benson Tsoi SC, Martin Wong SC, Foster Yim, Richard Yip and Sabrina Ho.
